Teacher: Roberto Parra and his seventh grade students have visited the Museum of Arica with the aim of;” Know and Value the Heritage”. They observed the Chinchorro mummies the oldest in the world. This culture practiced artificial mummification 2000 years earlier than the Egyptians. It was a sedentary town, that lived 5000 years ago at the coast of desert Atacama and exploded the sea to exist.

Brief comments: Students and teacher Mr. Roberto Parra were motivated by the program of Life-link. The Museum is located 12 km from Liceo. The students with their teacher studied in advance about the mummies and their world-wide importance. Students age is 14 year old.
