Some teachers took the initiative of planting trees in the school garden.
In School D-4 we have a garden. In this Garden students perform activities of cultivation and care of plants and trees.
Every year our school holds an action "Save the tree". This action is designed to save the environment. If you want to take part in this action, you need to collect all the unnecessary waste paper at home and bring it at school.
UNESCO club of HAPS Hiranagar celebrated ‘World Environment Day’ on 4 June 2019 on the theme of the year: ‘Air pollution’. Vaibhav of class +1 recited a satirical verse during morning assembly whereas Kashvi of class VI highlighted the peril of ‘Air pollution’.
“Tobacco and lung health” was the message disseminated by HAPSian on the eve of World No Tobacco Day on 31st May 2019. The event unfolded with the speeches of Shivam, Shivanjali and Shagun during morning assembly.
Today (08.05.2019) our school held a conference on a very important topic “Environmental impacts of human activities”.
once again the students of life-link friendship schools achieved success and did a great effort in tackling climate changes in Tehran.
On 26th April 2019 HAPSians celebrated Arbor Day to promote the values of sustainable development. Kashish a NSS volunteer and a UNESCO Club member gave a speech on history of Arbor day during morning assembly.
On 25th April 2019 HAPS Hiranagar observed World Malaria Day.
HAPS Hiranagar observed ‘World Earth Day’ on 22 April 2019 to raise awareness about the accelerating rate of extinction of species. To mark the event HAPS UNECO Club organized various activities in the campus.
More and more people realise the urgency for climate action. The planet is suffering from human behaviour. The communities that want to change this is growing day by day. Since December 2018 several movements have developed all over the world. Especially youth is taking the lead.
Life-Link Friendship Schools has expressed its support for the Swedish government to sign the UN Convention on prohibition of nuclear weapons. Therefore Life-Link shares the view of most Swedes.
