Environment Parade

Schools of D-4 Arica, Chile

44 students and  Gladys Hernandez, Patricia Eloy and Anita Herrera  teachers of the school D-4 of Arica Chile carried out the ENVIRONMENT PARADE  along with  others schools  of Life-Link  and invited guests on Thursday October 10. The Environment Parade was about Climate Change , care for water and the importance of recycling and keeping the environment clean.

The schools and their students were invited by the Ministerial Secretariat of Arica of the Environment. The goal is to spread the message through the  community of our city.

They were wearing their recycled T-shirts (made by themselves in class ) with allusive messages (see photos ) and posters alluding to the care of the environment during the parade. Students walked the parade crossing the city center and eventuelly gathering in the center of Arica-city , where activities were  performed, such as dancing  and an exhibition on stands . Some of the students  were wearing costumes about environmental topics while dancing.
