HAPS Hiranagar observed ‘World Wildlife Week’ from 1st Oct. 2019 to 7th October 2019. To mark the event various activities were organized in school to raise awareness on “extraordinary diversity of marine life”. On 3 October a quiz and slogan writing competition was conducted on “Marine Wildlife”. On 4th students raised their voices for animal rights and welfare. On 6th Oct. students from 9th to 12th participated in a morning walk organized by forest department. Later they also participated in different competitions organized by H.P. Forest department. Event culminated on 7th Oct. with celebration of “World Habitat Day”. Shreya of class 8th put some light on “World Habitat Day” during morning assembly. Students of classes 3rd and 4th were shown power point presentations on World Habitat Day.
