HAPS Hiranagar observed ‘World Earth Day’ on 22 April 2019 to raise awareness about the accelerating rate of extinction of species. To mark the event HAPS UNECO Club organized various activities in the campus. Students from classes 1st to 3rd participated in slogan writing competition on “Save endangered species” and made signs on Earth day. Students of Secondary section participated in “Best out of waste” activity. Whereas NSS volunteers and NCC cadets took out a cleanliness drive and cleared school surroundings of plastic waste. Later on the collected plastic waste will be deposited to PWD department. Little angels of 1st and 2nd visited school botanical garden and also participated in hand print activity. Last but not least tiny tots dressed in Green colour had vivid activities like ramp walk, dance, coloring and poem recitation in their K.G. wing. Principal HAPS Mrs. Vineeta Gupta congratulated concerned teachers and students on successful completion of event.
