On 26th April 2019 HAPSians celebrated Arbor Day to promote the values of sustainable development. Kashish a NSS volunteer and a UNESCO Club member gave a speech on history of Arbor day during morning assembly.
HAPS Hiranagar observed ‘World Earth Day’ on 22 April 2019 to raise awareness about the accelerating rate of extinction of species. To mark the event HAPS UNECO Club organized various activities in the campus.
HAPSians observed World Heritage Day an 18th April 2019. To mark the event, a presentation on endangered species and heritage sites was shown to students from classes VIth to Xth, whereas students from classes Ist to Vth were shown videos on national heritage.
Our school collaborated with the city agricultural training center (TAYEM). We visited this institution with 35 students. The agricultural engineers gave trainings to our students about tree planting and basic agricultural techniques.
Diminishing air pollution in our city Tehran is the first step toward diminishing global warming and tackling climate change. In response to Greta Thunberg movement in Sweden we accelerated our efforts for performing the project.
